The Rudolf and Ursula Lieberum Foundation awards an annual grant up to EUR 2,500 to students or doctoral candidates at the University of Kassel who have set themselves apart by significantly above average achievements. Periods of study or research abroad, particular intended study, projects or research or doctoral theses are supported, among other things.
Each lecturer at the University of Kassel can propose suitable students who have stood out in lectures, projects or examinations as a result of their exceptional performance and above average specialist skills. Certification from two assessors of the above average performance must be provided.
Expected deadline: 31 May 2016
The following documents should be included with the proposal:
- cover letter by the applicant
- project outline including a timetable, work plan and funding plan in German
- two expert opinions (in accordance with the guidelines)
- CV with a photo
- evidence of income
- school leaver certificate or degree certificate (with a translation if applicable)
