In the framework of Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center's operations we are planning the IBM BlueMix Hackathon in Yerevan. Register with Google Doc Team Sign Up Sheet IBM Bluemix Is an open-standard, cloud-based platform for building, managing and running apps and services of all types (web, mobile, big data, new smart devices).
Bluemix gives the opportunity to create apps using a wide range of languages and technologies (lava, php, nodejs, python, ruby, etc.). The Bluemix hackathon introduces participants to IBM Bluemix and IBM DevOps Services. Participants use this unique opportunity to showcase their Innovative Sills and build their dream app.
IBM BlueMix Hackathon EVN 15 is designed to teach participants fundamentals of building and deploying applications in the Cloud.
The main directions of IBM BlueMix Hackathon EVN are:
Cloud Computing, Mobile, Healthcare, Education, Big Data, Social Marketing, Security, Business Analytics, Financial/Banking
Once registered via the google form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, with appropriate instructions on how to obtain an IBM.com ID and sign up for the BlueMix Limited Preview program.
You will also be provided with support channels (email , chat) in case you have any trouble accessing the system. After you register and agree to the limited preview license, you will be given access to the BlueMix environment.
Before the official launch of the Hackathon on July 11, all participating teams will have the opportunity to participate to a special workshop session dedicated to IBM BlueMix cloud services:

Teams are required to attend the mandatory July 11th kickoff from 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Pizza will be served afterwards. Teams may stay at Ayb High School overnight to develop their application or may go home to finish it, and miss the perfect breakfast.
On July 12th mandatory attendance will also be required for teams from 11:30am to the end of the award ceremony 6:00 pm. Teams will have lunch together.
REQUIRED: 10 MINUTE DEMO PRESENTATIONS OF THE APPLICATION FROM 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
