HENDRIK MULLER PRIZE FOR BEHAVIOURAL AND SOCIAL SCIENCES 2017

The Dr Hendrik Muller Prize for Behavioural and Social Sciences is awarded every other year to a researcher or group of researchers who has made a significant or valuable contribution to the behavioural and social sciences.

The prize, EUR 25,000, was established in 1990 and is awarded and funded by the Dr Hendrik Muller's Vaderlandsch Fonds Foundation.

The foundation is named after Hendrik Pieter Nicolaas Muller (1859-1941), a Dutch businessman and diplomat. After a successful business career in Rotterdam, Dr Muller served as a diplomatic representative to Romania (1919-1924) and former Czechoslovakia (1924-1932).

Who is it for?

Individual researchers or a group of researchers who are either Dutch or working in the Netherlands and active in the behavioural and social sciences, or foreign researchers in the behavioural and social sciences whose work focuses on the Netherlands.

Nomination and award

The deadline for submitting nominations is 15 May 2017. The award ceremony will take place in December 2017.
