Healthcare Public Relations Internship, San Francisco
FleishmanHillard San Francisco has an immediate opening for a Healthcare Public Relations intern to work in our downtown office, which is located in the heart of San Francisco. This position offers the opportunity to work with the winner of PRWeek’s Large Agency of the Year 2014 and Best Places to Work 2013, and a team of public relations counselors serving a wide roster of internationally recognized companies. As one of our San Francisco interns, you will have the opportunity to learn and have exposure to the full gamut of public relations services including competitive and industry research and analysis, the development of media lists, an introduction to writing client press releases, social media management and event planning. Qualifications
Although this is a full-time internship, recent college graduates are preferred - candidates with one to two years of work experience will be considered. Successful applicants will possess:
- Excellent research, writing and organization skills
- Highly motivated and able to work easily in both large team environments or independently
- Hands-on experience with media-related assignments and interactions
- Experience with CisionPoint for media list database creation
- Prior internship experience at a public relations firm or corporate communications department
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines
- A bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related fields
Work Schedule
This is a 3 month, full-time, paid position, with the opportunity for extension for a candidate that fits.
