Dutch Government’s Human Rights Award - Human Rights Tulip

The Human Rights Tulip is an award of the Dutch government for courageous human rights defenders who promote and support human rights in innovative ways. Please see www.humanrightstulip.nl for further information on the Award.

Organizations, collectives and individuals who consider themselves eligible for this award can nominate themselves directly. You can also nominate another individual, collective or organization. Nominations can be made by filling in the (online) nomination form below as complete as possible and sending it to tulip@hivos.org. All nominations need to be sent in before July 15th.

If you are nominating yourself or your own organisation, make sure to present a referent/reference (a known / respected person that can support your nomination and whom we might contact for additional information).

Please be aware that the process of selecting the winner of the Human Rights Tulip will come with public visibility. Pre-selected nominations will be announced on our website www.humanrightstulip.nl for online voting, including a public summary of the work. The winner of the Human Rights Tulip will be invited to participate in several public events, including the award ceremony in the Netherlands.
