1-Year Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Religious Studies
Duties and responsibilities:
The Research Fellow is expected to pursue a specific line of research as outlined in their application material, to engage with the life and activities of the Center for Religious Studies, and participate actively in scholarly events such as the CRS lecture series and its doctoral colloquium. The stipend has been set according to CEU standards and is competitive for the region.
Qualifications:
Applicants should be holders of doctoral degrees received no earlier than January 2013 from relevant fields in the humanities or social sciences, and be young scholars of exceptional promise with a track record appropriate to their career stage. The disciplinary and thematic areas of specialization, including geographical regions and chronological time spans of research, are open, but preference will be given to candidates with broad cross-disciplinary perspectives, a demonstrable and meaningful interest in comparative work and with a mastery of the theories and research methods proper to Religious Studies.
