Researchers across the entire career scale working in the UK or abroad for a UK Higher Education Institution. Research must cover the fields of the arts, humanities and the social sciences that is related to and/or undertaken in Turkey and the Black Sea littoral.

Eligibility
Researchers across the entire career scale (from post-doctoral fellows to senior academics), of whatever nationality working in the UK or abroad for a UK Higher Education Institution, or researchers directing a project that is based formally and demonstrably in the UK are eligible to apply for BIAA 5K Grants. Projects must cover the fields of the arts, humanities and the social sciences that is related to and/or undertaken in Turkey and the Black Sea littoral.
Applicants in any doubt about their eligibility or any other aspect of their application are advised to contact the British Institute at Ankara (BIAA), where staff will be pleased to assist.
Deadline
The deadline for receipt of applications and references is 28 April 2017. The BIAA Research Committee will consider the applications.
