FOCUS photo l.a. is going to Berlin Art Week!
For 26 years photo l.a. has celebrated and brought together the photography and arts community. It is with this mission in mind that we have presented a photo competition with our partners, The Icon and Fine Art Solutions to help provide emerging and mid career artists/photographers opportunities to broaden their career opportunities and promote their work.
Through our long established partnerships with world-renowned photography galleries, art fairs, museums, and publications, winners of past competitions have been picked up by international galleries, magazines, and have expanded their career opportunities.
Prize
For this edition of FOCUS photo l.a. the work of the top 20 finalists will be printed by The Icon, frame by Fine Arts Solutions and exhibited at a pop-up exhibition during Berlin Art Week 2016. The 20 finalists will be presented at a pop-up exhibition during Berlin Art Week 2016 Semptember 15 – 20, 2016 in Berlin. From the 20 finalists, expert judges will select and announce a Grand, Second and Third Prize Winner on August 5, 2016.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a roundtrip ticket to Berlin to attend Berlin Art Week 2016 along with a three-night stay in Berlin.
How to enter
To enter, simply Register at the official website. Upload your 10 images, and submit them into the competition. Once you have provided the nominal entry fee, your images will officially be entered into the current competition and you will receive a confirmation email. Finalists will need to provide a file that is 24" on the longest side at 300 dpi in either a .JPEG or .TIFF file format.
