PhD opportunities at the International Graduate School in Development Health and Disease, University of Cologne

Dr. Nelli Vardanyan pursued her PhD degree in 2009 at the University of Cologne. From 2004 to 2008 she was a fellow of the Intl. Graduate School in Genetics and Functional Genomics, one of the North Rhine Westphalia research schools funded since 2001 by the NRW government.
In her presentation she will talk about application requirements, graduate program and life in Cologne. She will share with you her own experiences from the time of her PhD studies in Cologne http://www.igsdhd.uni-koeln.de/.
After the talk she will be happy to give you advice as to the application and eligibility. She will collect applications from all interested students – make sure to bring COMPLETE application including:
- filled out application form
- CV / resume (photo not needed)
- transcripts of records
- copies of B.Sc. and/ or M.Sc. certificates
Exceptionally, also not translated transcripts and certificates will be accepted. However, those students who will be shortlisted for an interview on the basis of the documents handed out to Dr. Vardanyan will be obliged to submit officially translated and certified copies at the later time.
To participate in this lecture, please, submit an email with short (1-3 lines) introduction (in Armenian or English) about yourself to armacadem@yahoo.co.ukwith “COLOGNE” in the subject line. The authors of emails with a different subject line will not be considered for participation in this lecture. So, please, be sure that you mention “COLOGNE” in the subject line of your email when registering for this lecture. The details of the meeting will be shared with those who registered by March 20, 2011.

Նելլի Վարդանյանը պաշտպանել է իր գիտական թեզը Քյոլնի համալսարանում 2009 թ։ 2004-2008թթ.եղել է "International Graduate School in Genetics and Functional Genomics"-ի կրթաթոշակակիրներից մեկը, որը ֆինանսավորվելէ Հյուսիսային Հռենոս- Վեստֆալիայի (NRW) կառավարության կողմից։
Նա կխոսի ընդունելության գործընթացի մասին և կկիսվի ձեր հետ իր սեփական փորձով։ Դասախոսությունից հետո նա ուրախ կլինի պատասխանելձեր հարցերին, նաև կհավաքի բոլոր շահագրգիռ ուսանողների դիմումներ։ Խնդրում ենք բերել լիարժեք լրացված դիմումը, այդ թվում `
