JURIS DOCTOR (JD) SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established to provide up to four (4) students per year with a $2,000 scholarship for the coursework costs of the Juris Doctor program with Newcastle Law School.

Applicable to: International Students, Domestic Students, Law, Postgraduate, financially disadvantaged, Masters Coursework, High Achievers.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have received an offer and be enrolled in the Juris Doctor program in the Faculty of Business and Law.
  • Be an international or domestic student.
  • Be enrolled full-time (minimum 30 units).

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

If documentation is not provided your application will not be processed. Please have all required documents available for upload as PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, or JPG files prior to completing the online application process.

  • A copy of your undergraduate transcript.

 

BENEFIT

Four (4) scholarships will be offered in 2017; two (2) will be available for International Students and two (2) available for Domestic students. These scholarships will provide a benefit of $2000 payable in two lump sums following the census date of each semester.

SELECTION

Applicants for the scholarship must complete and submit the relevant scholarship application form online by the due date

Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of academic merit; applicants will need to provide full academic transcripts with GPA or equivalent.

There will be 2 scholarships available for International students and 2 for Domestic students.
