Visiting Senior Research Fellowship 2017-18

The College offers a Visiting Senior Research Fellowship to a scholar of international distinction in research who holds a remunerated post in another University or equivalent and who wishes to spend time in Oxford to pursue his or her research.  The Fellowship is tenable from 1 October 2017, preferably for one year, although consideration may be given to applications to hold the Fellowship for one or two terms.  The College seeks applications from candidates in any field of research, although there is a preference this year for candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Fellowship provides free living accommodation at the College’s East Oxford annexe site (a flat suitable for a single person or couple only), a study in College, Senior Common Room membership and full lunching and dining rights.

Applications should be sent to the Principal, Jesus College, Oxford, OX1 3DW by Friday 17 February 2017, comprising a CV, a proposal for the use of the time in Oxford and the names and contact details of three referees.  It is the responsibility of applicants to ask their referees to send their references direct to the Principal’s secretary (helen.gee@jesus.ox.ac.uk) by the same date.
