Global Korean Government Scholarship Program 2022

Publish Date: Mar 01, 2021

Global Korea Scholarship is the annual international program for students of all academic levels pursuing academic opportunities in the Republic of Korea.

For undergraduate students

Undergraduates have the opportunity to take 4-year courses at designated Korean Universities.

Note that you should take the full course in the Korean educational institution. Student exchange is not allowed in the middle of the program, e.g., you can't start your studies from the junior year.

There are Embassy Track and University Track subdivisions under the undergraduate program. From overall 220 undergraduate students each year, Embassy Track funds 125 international students from 67 countries. University Track supports 60 international students from 72 countries to study Bachelor's in Engineering or Nature Science majors. It also supports 35 international students from 17 countries to take associate degrees in Korea.

For graduate students

The graduate program offers funding opportunities for students who want to take Master's or Ph.D. courses in Korean universities. The program funds 1278 international students from 154 countries, including "overseas Koreans," who held Korean citizenship before and have another country's citizenship when applying.
