ABOUT
In the intensive 5-day Winter Conducting Workshop, Fellows will have over 90 minutes total conducting time, including three sessions with BCO and four with a 1-per-part ensemble, plus daily individual video reviews and two daily technique sessions focused on gaining control of the muscles that generate the physical component of conducting. Each morning the breakfast conversations with Maestro Thakar cover topics musical and practical.
The Winter Conducting Workshop welcomes Associates, who participate fully in all activities outside of conducting the ensembles.
Fees
Fellows: $1800
*Associates: $900
Non-refundable application fee: $50
(Full payment of the tuition fee will be required to hold the space)
Application Procedure
To apply for consideration, please submit :
- A completed application form (You may find it in the original web page). Not all browsers support digital signatures. If yours does not, please download this form to your device, open with a supported program such as the free Adobe Reader, and fill out and sign the form digitally. Or alternatively, print it, fill it out manually, scan it, and email it (or send by snail mail).
- Video of your conducting music of contrasting styles. Online links are preferred, but you may also submit a DVD, which will not be returned.
- Your Curriculum Vitae.
- A list of references, including email addresses.
- Non-refundable application fee of $50

Deadline for applications: November 1, 2016.

Acceptances will go out shortly after November 1, but sometimes openings occur post-deadline; do not hesitate to inquire post-deadline.
