The Global Law and Governance (GLG) Summer School
The Global Law and Governance (GLG) Summer School is an initiative of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) located next to the sea in Sounion Bay, 64 km from the center of Athens, Greece. The GLG Summer School offers a stimulating one-week intensive summer program (July 25-29) with a research-led, interdisciplinary approach to law, public policy and economics.
Prestigious scholars from all over the world present their cutting edge research on key themes impacting European and International integration, while students are invited to listen, interact and brainstorm with their instructors, making the GLG Summer School a truly innovative and engaging learning experience. Students will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance, provided that they fully attend and actively participate in classes, as well as complete all assignments. ECTS Diploma Supplements are also available upon request.
Course Structure
- Intensive one week summer program in English
- Monday to Friday: 6-8 hours per day of interdisciplinary and interactive seminars
- Wednesday: Conference on the Future of Regulation
Eligibility to Apply
- Advanced undergraduates, graduates, or postgraduate students from law, politics, economics, sociology, history, philosophy & international relations
- Lawyers and officials of int’l organizations & domestic administrations
- Thorough knowledge of the English language is a requirement.
Fees
Fees for the GLG Summer School are a non-refundable 30€ application fee and a program fee of 380€. The program fee includes:
- Participation in the Courses
- Participation in the Conference
- Non-printed Course Material
- Certification of Participation and Completion
- ECTS Diploma Supplement Upon Request
For those prospective students applying by April 29, 2016, the program fee is set at 300 €. Please note that at least half of the program fee must be paid by May 13, 2016.
The application deadline for the full Tuition Rate is June 24, 2016. The deadline for the payment of the tuition fee or any outstanding balance is July 8, 2016.

The Faculty Board of the GLG Summer School will examine the applications and respond within two weeks from the date of receipt. Instructions regarding payment, either online by credit card or via bank transfer, will be given according to preferences set in the Application form. The registration is confirmed upon receipt of the program fee payment.
Application Procedure
To apply, please complete the online Application Form and pay the non-refundable 30€ application fee. Scan and send the application, evidence of application fee payment and a CV, preferably in Europass format by e-mail to admissions@glgss.eu.
