Scholarships
We are pleased to announce that we have scholarships for 2016 entry.
These are available for students wishing to study:
- MSc International Business
- MSc International Business and Finance
- MSc International Business and Marketing
The scholarship is a reduction in tuition fees of £1,500.
Eligibility
In order to apply you must have applied and received an offer for one of the above programmes and be fully self-funding and be from outside the EU.
Application
If you fulfill these conditions you should complete the application form and write an essay (details of the essay are given on the application form). Send this to the International Office by email global@chi.ac.uk or post to University of Chichester, International Office, College Lane, Chichester PO19 6PE.
We will consider your application and inform you if you have been successful within 10 days of your completed application form arriving in the International Office and you will be required to accept your place on the programme within four weeks of notification in order to obtain the award.
The decision to award a scholarship is based on demonstration of a mixture of academic merit (including English language ability) and other merit or outstanding achievement in a particular field of activity, such as professional work based achievements or significant contributions to your community and society.
Short listing for the awards will be made by a panel of University of Chichester staff who will select the successful award winners. The decision of the panel is final.
MSc International Business
The learning focus of the MSc in International Business is to enable you to acquire a broad, robust and practical knowledge of business administration in a global business context.
The MSc International Business programme also provides the opportunity to focus on one of three specialised areas: International Business; International Marketing; or International Finance. The essential knowledge and skills required of international business managers are covered in Term 1. This leaves Term 2 to conclude with integrative modules (strategy and research methods) and specialist modules. The successful completion of your research project in Term 3 will enable you to gain your MSc in your chosen area.

The purpose of the dissertation is to complete an original and independent business research project. The dissertation will develop your research, analysis, synthesis, and business writing skills. The research project will focus on your chosen specialised area of International Business. Assessment To gain the Master's degree students need to complete eight modules and a dissertation of approximately 15,000-words.
MSc International Business & Finance
The learning focus of the MSc in International Business and Finance is to enable you to acquire a broad, robust and practical knowledge of business administration and finance in a global business context.
The essential knowledge and skills required of international business managers are covered in Term 1. This leaves Term 2 to conclude with integrative modules (strategy and research methods) and specialist finance modules.
