The Review Santa Fe Photo Festival, NOVEMBER 3-6, 2016, is the premier juried portfolio review event in the world.

Considered one of the most important events for photographers who seek career advancement, this conference and exhibition series is designed to facilitate relationships between photographers and leading industry professionals looking for new work.

Nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, up to 100 photographers meet with up to 45 of today’s most relevant and esteemed reviewers comprised of curators, editors, publishers, gallerists and others who can offer professional development advice and opportunities. These leading photo professionals come to Santa Fe seeking out new talent, including professionals from The New Yorker, MSNBC, TIME Magazine, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, and The Library of Congress.

Guidelines

ELIGIBLE WORK
Work derived from all photographic processes are accepted, as well as mixed media work that is photo-based (only still images are accepted, no multimedia components). Work can have been made at any time and work that has been submitted previously may be re-submitted. If you have a question about your eligibility please email programs@visitcenter.org before submitting your application.

IMAGE FORMAT
All images must be uploaded through our online system. Files must be in jpeg, sized 1000 pixels wide, height proportionate. File size should be 500k or smaller, with a minimum dpi of 72.

FILE NAMES & ORDERING YOUR IMAGES
Begin the filename with a lower-case alphabetical letter. Include the title in the filename after the letter and underscore. (Ex: a_Title.jpg, b_Title.jpg, c_Title.jpg).

PROJECT STATEMENTS
Project Statements are required for Review Santa Fe. The first sentence of your statement should include a short synopsis of the project. Please limit your statement to 325 words, and indicate the process or medium used and the final exhibition dimensions, ex. 8×10 black and white negative, 20×24 gelatin silver prints, or 35mm slides.
