Public Lecture: Nanoscale Thermal Transport by Vazrik Chiloyan
August 24 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The American University of Armenia (AUA) The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) will be hosting a public lecture on nanoscale thermal transport, led by Vazrik Chiloyan.
Vazrik Chiloyan was born in Aleppo, Syria, and grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts. Vazrik graduated from MIT in 2011 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and in Physics with a minor in Math. He is currently an MIT Energy Initiative Fellow (b-TEC). His current research focuses on improving the theoretical understanding of energy transport between surfaces separated by extremely small gaps in order to better bridge the theories of conduction and radiation.
