On October 29, official opening of TRDP office in Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor region will be held with red ribbon cutting ceremony. TRDP beneficiaries in Vayots Dzor, local NGOs, community heads, representatives from the regional government’s office will be present at the event. President Emeritus of the American University of Armenia, TRDP chair Dr. Haroutune Armenian and other members of TRDP executive committee & staff will as well be present. Vayots Dzor is the third region after Shirak and Tavush TRDP established its presence.
The American University of Armenia’s Turpanjian Rural Development Program encourages economic development in rural areas of the Republic of Armenia, The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Javakhk (Georgia) by providing entrepreneurs with education, access to funding and support to start businesses, create jobs and improve their communities.
