Celebrating its 7th year, Hiiibrand Awards 2016 is an international competition honoring brand design.

Open to world-wide enterprises, design institutes/companies, individual designers and students majored in design, Hiiibrand Awards assembles first-class identity, logo and package design works, with the aim to look for outstanding design talents at home and abroad, reward excellent design works, and to advance and further the development of brand design.

The competition has two levels, Professional and Student, each is set up with three categories - Identity, Logo and Package. Anyone who uploads their works to the official website of the organizers will be considered as a participant of the competition. All submitted entries will be exhibited on the official page (see "Further official Information" below the announcement) with necessary annotations during the competition. Globally renowned veteran designers will work as judges for the competition and fairly select winners for various prizes, including Grand Prix, Jury Award, Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, and Merit Award.

Awards:  

The award will be set out of Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award and Merit Award for Professional Level and Student Level. Besides, there are several awards, namely 1 Grand Prix and 6 Jury Awards for Professional Level and Student Level respectively.

Levels:

A) Professional Level

The candidate works must be that are identity, logo or package designs, being created during from January 2014 to January 2017, but without limitation on quantities. Entries from every country are eligible. The candidates can be an individual, design companies, or institutions which hold some design works. We will not accept any bidding works or the rejection works. Concept work and/or work that was not implemented is not eligible in this level.

B) Student Level

The candidate works must be that are identity, logo or package designs, being created during from January 2014 to January 2017, but without limitation on quantities. Entries from every country are eligible. The works must be created by the students or created during their education period, which can be implemented works or draft ones.

Categories:

The categories are focused on identity, logo and package design and will encompass work done for corporations; business-to-business or business-to-consumer companies; consumer products or services; sports teams, venues or events; cultural, educational, or governmental institutions; or non-profit, health, or religious organizations; among a number of other industries.

A) Identity: Logo (new or existing) + Applications. Identity program elements may vary but can include stationery (letterhead, business cards, enveloped), communication materials (brochures, annual report, etc.), livery, signage, retail environments, uniforms, iconography, websites, etc. A minimun of three applications must be submitted. No maximum limit.

B) Logo: Redesigns or new introductions of a logo. Just logo images can be submitted. 

C) Package: Redesigns or new introductions of a packaging. A maximum of five package images can be submitted. 

How to enter:

There are two way, you can choose to use either one of them as the way to entry. 

A) On Line: Participators should register and login the official website (to visit the website click "Further official information" below this announcement) . Login as a returning user with your email and password if you entered last year; or register for a new account.  Before you begin, please have the following ready. This will make the process go quickly. 

  • Your email address you registered in this website, which the committee will contact you by this email address.
  • The title and description of your works. If you put in English for them, it is must be let the judges get more understanding to your works.
  • Any digital files saved as JPG, 72 dpi, RGB (not CMYK), 1024 pixels on the longest side, less than 1MB.

B) Via Email: This year we will accept submissions via email. You can send the submissions via email. The committee will upload it for you. If you choose submit your works via email, please send the files to us: postmaster@hiiibrand.com

Deadline:

A) Early-Bird Deadline: December 31, 2016 (20% off entry fees).

B) Regular Deadline: February 21, 2017 (the date is subject to works submitted).
