Diploma Scholarships for Tanzanian Students at International School Moshi 2017, Tanzania

International School Moshi is offering five full scholarships for students to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme (Forms 5 and 6) in ISM from August 2017 to May 2019. Two or three of these scholarships are for boarding places on the Moshi Campus, and two or three are for day student places on the Arusha Campus.

We are now accepting applications for these Diploma scholarships.

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must:

  • be a Tanzanian citizen
  • have taken NECTA Form Four examinations in November 2016 or November 2015
  • have obtained Division 1 with 10 points or better in your form four exams
  • have been born in 1998 or later

 Applicants will need to send the following documents:

  • ISM scholarship application form
  • Statement of form four exam results (this can be a printout from the internet, but must be stamped and counter-signed by either your school, or by NECTA)
  • Statement of mock form four exam results
  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Birth Certificate
  • A handwritten letter written in English prepared by you alone describing the successes and challenges of your education so far (approximately 2-3 pages)

The timeline is anticipated to be as follows:

1. NECTA form four results released on 31st January 2017
2. Applications submitted to ISM before the closing date of 16th February 2017
3. Shortlisted candidates invited to Moshi/Arusha for interview in early March
4. Successful candidates offered scholarships (mid-March)

and these must arrive before 16th February 2017. All applicants must include both an email address and a mobile phone number at which they can be contacted.
