BRICS Global Business & Innovations Summer School
The summer school combines three main thematic fields to provide a unique place for examining the development of global business and innovation
(i) Global economic development and the rise of the BRICS;
(ii) Global Business Perspectives and Practices;
(iii) BRICS as a locus of Global Innovation.
Target Group
Senior Undergraduate and Graduate students of International Business, International Management or related major.
However, all interested candidates are kindly invited to apply!
Course Aim
The main objective is to stimulate discussion and generate ideas for developing robust models for promoting competitiveness and sustainable development in an increasingly turbulent environment.
What Do We Offer
- Two weeks of intensive business courses and real life cases
- Students from all over the world and a chance to meet new friends
- A variety of activities like field visits to companies, sightseeing and cultural events aimed on networking and team-building lectures
- A certificate of attendance and 4 ECTS credits
Abundant social programme will be organized by the team of local buddies, who will show the participants most interesting sites of St. Petersburg and assist everyone with everyday needs.

The applications are made online and the following documents are required:
- CV
- motivation letter in English (400 words max).
Participation fee
The participation fee for the summer school is 550 euro which includes:
- Tuition and study materials;
- Certificate of Attendance and and an Academic Transript (4 ECTS);
- Welcome Reception;
- Goodbye Reception on the boat;
- City Tour, Tour "Informal St.Petersbrug" and field trips to international companies
The payment should be done via a bank transfer directly to HSE University St.Petersburg. The refund deadline is July 1, 2017. No refunds for the course dropped or withdrawals made after the refund deadline. Summer School does not offer partial refunds.
The transportation and accommodation is not included into the fee and the participants are expected to cover it. Please contact the international office regarding the accommodation options: internationaloffice@hse.ru. We will be happy to assist you with the reservation!
Limited number of places in student dormitories (double room with shared facilities) is available on the first come first serve basis.
